ADOBE · COLLABOGRAMS
The Challenge: Reignite Photoshop as a platform for creativity, not a mere subscription, and inspire artists to create something the world had never seen before.
The Move: Pair radically different artists and let their disciplines collide. We brought together a gold-leaf sign painter and a tattoo artist, challenging them to create something awesome together neither could make alone: a 10-foot tribute to Motörhead legend Lemmy Kilmister.
The Return: 18.6M social impressions. 1.2M+ video views. 3M+ engagements. The work earned widespread editorial coverage and Adweek’s Ad of the Day, while reminding millions that Photoshop isn’t just software; it’s a canvas for making the extraordinary.

For this next installment of Adobe Collabograms, we united metalworker David Madero, from Mexico City, with embroidery artist Danielle Clough, from Cape Town, to create an unlikely masterpiece from opposite sides of the globe.
The finished piece marries the cold, hard masculinity of a steel scorpion with the soft, feminine warmth of embroidered portraits. The artwork reminds us that creativity is a dance between the creator and what they create with, between the artist and the technology they employ... a reflection of the duality in nature, in our relationships, and within us. ⌁
